STOP USING PLASTIC SPOONS

As we all know, the increasing amount of non-reusable plastic items is filling the oceans with garbage, not only making panoramas that were beautiful look just depressing but also damaging entire ecosystems: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OlnbLm-Dr5s

“NINE MILLION TONS OF PLASTIC WASTE END UP IN THE OCEAN EVERY YEAR”

What can we do about that? Can we just be indifferent, because it is a huge problem and our small contribution will not change anything?

NO!

We can’t hide behind our non-responsibility for those great problems. Besides, it is actually not true: every small contribution will help change a little something. So what are we, as EMIS, as Kfar Hayarok, doing about it? Are we taking action?

Well what are we waiting for then? We can start with small things: in our dining hall we are using plastic teaspoons. We, as Green Team, are trying to make a change and limit this waste: we could use other materials that are reusable or at list recycled.

Thus, we created a petition to support our initiative. We needed to promote it to raise signatures and awareness around the school and the village. Green team members made posters and attention grabbing sentences.

If you are with us, SIGN THE PETITION!
